ASTYM is the treatment of choice for chronic degenerative tendinopathy and scar tissue involved in such conditions as heel pain, elbow pain, hamstring or groin injuries, tendinopathies and post-traumatic/post-surgical scarring - even when nothing else seems to work. It is also very effective on sprains, strains, and other acute and sub-acute soft tissue injuries. ASTYM treatment safely, effectively and efficiently stimulates scar tissue to be resorbed by the body and degenerated tendons to regenerate and heal. Dave Johnson, PT, PhD is the only certified ASTYM provider in the Oklahoma City area.
