  1. I have been running 4-5 times a week for several months. Last week I went longer than usual one day and since then I have been bothered (very mild soreness) by my right achilles. I try to stretch it, but it's as though I can't ever stretch the sore part, only my calf. Anyway, I have self-diagnosed myself as having tendonitis. Does that sound right? How long does it take to heal? Do I have to stop running altogether? What other exercises can I do to keep my running strength up, if any?
